Policy plan
Stichting Katre
Our policy plan sets out the concrete activities and strategies through which Stichting Katre pursues its statutory objectives in the field of humanitarian aid and sustainable development.
Primary objectives
The four main pillars of our policy plan.
Humanitarian emergency aid
Immediate relief during disasters: food, water, medical care and temporary shelter for affected communities worldwide.
Financial recovery
Supporting affected communities in their economic recovery after a crisis through targeted programmes and microfinance.
Awareness campaigns
Campaigns about the impact of disasters and the ways to help, aimed at increasing social engagement in the Netherlands.
Partnerships
Partnerships with local and international organisations for maximum impact and efficient use of resources on the ground.
Fundraising
We actively recruit donors, partners and funds through events, digital campaigns and personal networks. Our approach focuses on long-term relationships and structural support rather than one-off contributions.
A team of 40+ volunteers supports our fundraising activities and helps organise events and campaigns throughout the Netherlands.
International cooperation
We work together with IHH Nederland and other certified NGOs for the efficient delivery of aid programmes abroad. Local partners know the terrain and ensure swift, effective assistance.
Transparency is central: our annual reports and financial statements are publicly available and accounted for in accordance with ANBI guidelines.
Transparency is central to our policy
