Stichting Katre is an ANBI-recognised foundation. Below you will find our statutory objectives, governance information and remuneration policy in accordance with the ANBI guidelines.
Statutory objectives
Stichting Katre seeks to achieve its purpose through the following activities.
Humanitarian and financial emergency aid
Providing humanitarian and financial support to victims of disasters and persecution, regardless of origin, religion or nationality.
Improving living conditions
Improving the living conditions of vulnerable communities, including the construction of water wells and sanitary facilities.
Sanitary infrastructure
Improving sanitary infrastructure in regions that lack basic amenities, with an eye for sustainability and local ownership.
Housing, healthcare and education
Supporting people in need with housing, medical care and access to education for children and adults.
Asylum seekers and distribution of clothing and goods
Helping asylum seekers and distributing clothing, food parcels and goods to people in need, both nationally and internationally.
Other beneficial activities
Other related beneficial activities for the public good, in accordance with the statutes of Stichting Katre.
Board
All board members work unpaid as volunteers for Stichting Katre. No attendance fees or remuneration are paid other than a reasonable reimbursement for demonstrably incurred expenses.

ANBI details
Stichting Katre is recognised as a Public Benefit Organisation (ANBI) by the Dutch Tax Administration. Donations are tax-deductible for income tax and corporate income tax.
