After the devastating earthquake in Morocco in September 2023, Stichting Katre took immediate action. Food parcels, tents and temporary housing were provided to affected families.
After the devastating earthquake in Morocco on 8 September 2023, Stichting Katre took immediate action. In the first 48 hours, food parcels and tents were sent to the worst-affected areas in the Atlas Mountains.
Thousands of families lost their homes and belongings. Our aid workers worked together with local organisations to reach the victims as quickly as possible. In addition to direct food aid, temporary shelter solutions were also provided.
Reconstruction is a lengthy process. Stichting Katre continues to support the affected communities even in the months after the disaster. Your support makes this possible.
