Why donate monthly?

Because we are ANBI-recognised, your donation may be tax-deductible. A one-time gift is often subject to a tax threshold. This means your donation is only deductible above a certain minimum amount.

Example: suppose your tax threshold is €400. If you make a one-time donation of €300, this amount is not deductible because you remain below the threshold. If you donate €600, only the amount above the threshold is deductible: in this case €200.

Do you opt for a monthly donation recorded as a periodic gift? Then this threshold does not apply. If you donate €25 per month, for example, you support us with €300 per year and this amount can be fully tax-deductible.

This way you support us structurally and make optimal use of the tax benefits of donating to an ANBI.
